A Moment With 3T

*Right On!, 1996*

Right On!: What kind of girls do you like?
TAJ: Just honest down to earth girls.

Right On!: Do you guys get to go out much?
Tarryl: No, not much. We do music a lot so we don't have as much time.

Right On!: Do you guys feel like you're an identical personality to any member of your family?
T.J.: A lot of people say that I remind them of Michael. Perfectionists and extremely shy when you first meet us... and fun people to be with.

Right On!: Do you see any similarities with your other uncles?
T.J.:Well look-wise they say I look like my grandfather and Uncle Marlon.

Right On!: Has Janet Jackson been a big influence too?
TAJ: Definitely. We go to see her when she's in L.A.
Right On!: She's a perfectionist too.
T.J.:The whole family is.

Right On!: What's one of your favorite songs?
Tarryl: "Brotherhood." That's the title of our album. It's a song about each of us. We each wrote each verse by ourselves therefore it's our own words about what we think about each other.

Right On!: That's good for people to hear.
TAJ: A lot of people tell us that's it's great that we're so close. Basically that a lot of people aren't so close as they should be and that we get along so well. We were always this close. We were always on the same baseball team and basketball team. We always played together. We are just best friends.

Right On!: Is that how your mother wanted it...to have you guys stick together?
Tarryl: Yeah, that's how she would have wanted it.

Right On!: You think you'd like to have big families? Not a ton of kids...2 or 3?
T.J.: Yeah. About 2 or 3.

Right On!: Do you think you'll go into acting?
TAJ: Maybe at one point. Maybe songwriting. Music can take you into acting...so wherever our music takes us...acting...directing. We've all been in videos before...just small parts...Janet's and The Jacksons' videos.
